Privacy Policy

Parandaenamusup Co., Ltd. (the "Company") establishes and discloses the following privacy policy pursuant to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, in order to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The Company processes personal information for the purposes below. Personal information processed is not used for any purpose other than those listed, and prior consent will be obtained if the purpose of use changes.

  • Membership registration and management: confirming intent to register, identifying and authenticating the individual, maintaining and managing membership status, preventing fraudulent use of the service
  • Service provision: providing content, identity verification, sending AlimTalk / SMS messages, payment and settlement
  • Grievance handling: verifying the identity of the complainant, confirming the details of the complaint, contacting and notifying for fact-finding, notifying the outcome

Article 2 (Categories of Personal Information Processed)

Required items

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number (identity verification, login identifier)
  • Email
  • Address
  • When using social login: identifier, email, and nickname provided by Kakao / Naver / Google

Automatically collected items

  • Access IP, cookies, service usage records, device information (browser / OS)

Optional items

  • Profile photo, additional contact details, and other information entered directly by the member

Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

  • Member information: until account withdrawal. However, a hashed value of the phone number may be retained for 30 days after withdrawal to prevent fraudulent use.

Retention under relevant statutes

  • Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
  • Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (same Act)
  • Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (same Act)
  • Website visit logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only where Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act apply, such as with the data subject's consent or under specific provisions of law.

Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)

For smooth service provision, the Company entrusts personal information processing tasks as follows.

  • AlimTalk / SMS delivery: Aligo
  • Payment processing: PayApp
  • Social login: Kakao, Naver, Google

Article 6 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them)

Data subjects may exercise the following rights against the Company at any time.

  • Request access to personal information
  • Request correction in case of errors
  • Request deletion
  • Request suspension of processing

These rights may be exercised through the settings menu within the service, or in writing, by email, or similar means addressed to the privacy officer. The Company will act on such requests without delay.

Article 7 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.

  • Administrative measures: establishing and implementing an internal management plan, regular employee training
  • Technical measures: managing access rights to the personal information processing system, installing an access control system, encrypting passwords, installing security programs
  • Physical measures: access control for the server room, document storage room, and similar areas

Article 8 (Privacy Officer)

The Company designates a privacy officer as follows, who takes overall responsibility for personal information processing tasks and handles complaints and remedies for data subjects in relation to personal information processing.

Article 9 (Remedies for Infringement of Rights)

To obtain remedies for infringement of personal information, data subjects may apply for dispute resolution or consultation with the Personal Information Protection Commission, the Korea Internet & Security Agency's Privacy Infringement Report Center, and similar bodies.
